Overview

This course is tailor made for persons desiring to learn or wanting to advance their clipper work and fading skills by training the EWC way. This course is also Ideal for people which have a trade test or needing help to get back in to the game after some time of work.

EWC aims to qualify over 500 students every year. Our result driven training method is proven and all hands on practical training. Which means you'll be spending more time training less time in books. EWC expert educators will be beside you at all times to oversee, build confidence, develop your skill set and produce quality results. Classes are between 4 to 8 students, with students of all ages and both genders.

Clipper Fundamentals

Your educator will assess your level and cover the following areas:

  • Blending with Clipper over comb
  • Skin fades with zero grades
  • Clippering & Fading Techniques
  • Cutting the top
  • Basic styling

With each service you will have our expert educator right beside you giving you feedback and support as your cutting. You will also be watching live demonstration form the experts to break down advanced cutting methods so that you master the core EWC way of cutting hair including short skin fades and creative cuts.

By finishing the course you will be confident and experienced. You would have finished up to 20 real live haircuts, with the support of our pro educators. You will be provided with clients, which means you'll be spending all your time cutting hair.

Duration: 1 week. Monday to Friday 10:15 - 17:00

We accept overseas students visiting on tourist visas and can provide housing options. If you are from a country that is part of the European Union then you likely will be able to travel to the UK without obtaining a separate visa. If you are from outside of the EU then you will need to apply for a tourist travel visa from the UK government, which you can do here: www.gov.uk/check-uk-visa

Whilst the primary purpose of this qualification is to prepare learners for employment, learners may choose to develop their knowledge and skills further by completing an advanced apprenticeship or Level 2 qualification in barbering, these include:

  • VTCT Level 2 Diploma in Barbering
  • VTCT Level 2 Diploma in Barbering Studies
  • VTCT NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Barbering
